Let me tell you about a child.
Her name is Sophia. She lives with her mother and does not know her father. They struggle to get by, but are making it. Sophia has a brother named Xavier. They all live in Arbor Park Apartments in Talladega, Alabama. This Summer, they are not only going to experience outreach in the form of food and assistance, but the are going to get to experience Christ in their apartment complex.
This is one family of the apartment complex of one community that will experience missions, joining many, many others in the city of Talladega.
Partnering in Missions
Liberty Church will be partnering with many churches locally and across the nation to minister to Talladega, in some of the poorest and neglected communities this nation has seen. We will be sending seven teens and two adults to join hand in hand with many other churches in seeing this need met. We will minister to families, we will love on kids, we will impact communities. But most importantly, we will share the Gospel.
I’d like to invite you to sponsor our team. It takes $380 for each individual to make it on this trip. This covers necessary lodging, food, travel. But it also covers ministry costs: food, game supplies, papers and pamphlets, curriculum. It covers the necessary things that it takes to reach individuals who are marginalized and disenfranchised, so that we may develop relationships with the people we meed and are able to share the Gospel effectively.
